Cruise liner speed

The cruise liner speed depends on the ship’s design, mission, and schedule, with newer ships cruising at  a  higher speed.  Most of the latest cruise liners have a speed of between 20 and 24 knots  and the average speed is usually lower.  One knot = 1.5 miles per hour.
