Cruising to the Galapagos Islands

It is possible as you visit the Galapagos Islands, that you will be walking in the footsteps of Charles Darwin. A group of American film makers have done that, and produced a documentary which aims to refute some of Dawin’s original theories. Darwin’s theory of evolution is still just that – nothing more than a theory. Evolutionist see it as the equivalent to the Bible or the koran.

The Mysterious Island was timed to upstage the anniversary of Darwin’s famous book, and was made by Jon and Andy Erwin. The documentary is seen through the eyes of a sixteen year old boy, who with his father, explores the same area as Darwin and examines the same type of mysterious wildlife. It aims to examine some of the questions that Darwin failed to answer, or as they claim, simply got wrong. The main purpose of the mission was trying to establish whether the Galapagos Islands were the science lab of evolution or the showcase for creation. Evolutionary theory is a subjective and emotive issue which for two hundred years has created division among communities.

it is not a surprise to find out that within the tourist sector the Galapagos Islands are an extremely popular place to visit. In fact in recent years a Galapagos holiday featured in a poll in America as being one of the top five destinations on the planet. As ideas for active holidays go, this one is quite hard to beat. It is odd that people from one of the worlds largest land masses want to visit somewhere with such a small land mass. As far as I can tell, there are no Macdonalds anywhere around here! For some people a visit to the Islands means Galapagos Cruise and a guided tour of the inhabited islands. For others, Galapagos cruises are best left for those who want to soak up the sun, whilst experiencing the high quality entertainment and service that come with the package. Could there possibly be anyone out there on the planet who would be able to resist something that sounds so wonderful!
