The upcoming years is bearing down upon us, and now the decision on a holiday is becoming more important. That’s right, Christmas is upon us, and then immediately after that is the mad rush for those holiday bookings. It is time to start looking at who will be taking on the beach holiday in the heavyweight for for summer, let’s see how we think cruise holidays could fair up.
The Cruise ship holiday has done very well, and the ships themselves just seem to be getting bigger and bigger to accommodate more people. Cruise ships have been that little niche market, however now they are coming out of their shell a bit. The Cruise ship was a massive phenomenon but it was very expensive, and the price hasn’t changed much. However now things are slightly different and now people from all walks of life have this opportunity. Cruises can take massive numbers aboard there ships, even in the thousands, but because of their sheer size they can quite comfortably cope with this. Cruise ships have all that anyone could need aboard them; including theatre shows and even a cinema, not to mention several restaurants and much more.
The more traditional holiday is that one where you don’t really travel that much, you just travel for a while in one instance and then settle down for your holiday in one location. We will use one location as an example let’s say the Caribbean. Some great locations like St Lucia, Barbados or Antigua along with many others. Cruise holidays are very expensive, and although Caribbean holidays are still not that cheap, they are no where near as expensive as Cruise holidays. However you only get to experience one location, and is that going to be enough for you?
