Many people who visit new cities tend to dread the prospect of driving themselves around unchartered territory. Not knowing your way around can be ultra scary. I went to Denver last year which is a large city with a bustling overtone. I am from Illiniois, a very small area. So rather than try and get around the streets of Denver, I decided to call a local limo company. I hired a Denver limousine to tote me around the are.
Believe it or not, it was not too expensive and the chauffuer was very knowledgable. He was originally a Connecticut painter he had come out west a few months ago. By the way he knew his way around Denver, I would have thought that he live there his whole life. The chauffer took me to a Denver Broncos game and it was freezing outside. It was a lot of fun.
I also wanted to visit the gold mining town of Golden. I had heard that you can pan for gold in one of the rivers there. I got to try panning gold and I even found a $1,000 nugget in the river bank. I called the Denver limousine service and the same chauffer drove me to Golden. Everyone in this town was so cool, they were not unhappy at all.
If you ever visit Colorado, you should go and check out Golden. I also went to the town of Idaho Springs which was beautiful. They had some good restuarants and a nice main street area. I slept at the St. Julien Inn and Resort. This is a very high end resort and spa. If you get a chance – book yourself a trip to the amazing state of Colorado!
