There are of course many reasons why you should seriously consider going on one of those world famous Egypt holidays. The fact is that I had decided to go to Egypt with a couple of my mates for a bit of diving. Egypt is very famous for its diving in case you didn’t know and I have to say that when I went over there I had not been undersea diving before.
During our stay we managed to book in at a luxurious hotel with a huge swimming pool that just happened to be one of those all inclusive holidays as well. Turks have a lot of influence over the foot in Egypt that has to be said but this is because they occupied it for 300 years.
The History
It is safe to say that Egypt has one of the most well know histories on the planet with Ancient Egyptians being at the centre point for many historians. We were very lucky in that we managed to go over to the Valley Of The Kings, this truly is amazing and even if you are not into your history I would say do it. It is amazing to see how an ancient civilisation was able to do something like this.
The Next Journey?
Well as you can tell I am bit of a history geek so next year I am off on my Cuba holidays to experience the country for the very first time. I am hoping to learn a little more on the Cuban revolution along with the cold war stuff like the missile crisis which put severe threat on the entire world as we know it.
If you have always thought about visiting this very unique country then do it, wipe it off the list of things to do and just go out and do it.
