Thailand Holidays and what you should really not be doing!

Right People always ask, what should I try when I am on holiday? Is there anywhere that i must go? Now although all of these things can help you to enjoy your holiday, what should you avoid doing on these holidays? So Thailand is this example, here are the top 6 things not to do when you go on holiday to Thailand!

  1. This country is extremely religious, Buddhists to be precise, make sure that you don’t make any funny remarks. Do your best NOT to damage any of Buddha’s figures, you can look, but try to avoid touching. These statues are some of the most sacred in Thailand, it’s not a good idea to mess with them!
  2. Although Bangkok is very seedy, the rest of Thailand is very reserved, so make sure you keep your clothes on and try not to be disrespectful. If you wait till night, it is more appropriate to remove a T-shirt, but only that at the most, and only a man.
  3. In Bangkok you can get away with a lot, in fact this is the most westernised city in Thailand, but even Bangkok can hold dangers! Mainly for the younger generations, be vigilant with your money, it can and will go walkies very fast, even when you go into a lap dance bar. Also I strongly recommend taking your own protection, you know what I mean!
  4. DO NOT GET CAUGHT WITH DRUGS ABOUT YOUR PERSON. Make sure that you heed this warning, a long jail sentence or even worse a possible death sentence, depending on how hard the drug!
  5. DO your best not to over stay your welcome! If you are no longer under a Visa to stay in this country, then make sure you leave, there are some cases where you could be crammed in a prison cell with more than 50 other prisoners, so keep your timeline in mind!
  6. Don’t fall in love, or at least try not to. This is not a very nice thing to say, but the only problem is that if your bank details go missing so will your money!

Asia vacations are on the rise, Thailand holidays have really blasted off, but other famous ones are; Maldives holidays and Sri Lanka holidays!
