Sri Lanka is the holiday destination choice for me for these reasons. This is going to be one of the biggest holidays of the year according to several tour operators. However, I do believe that some of those that go there do not really know what they are walking into. If you have never been here before but are considering it, definitely go, just read this first!
The flight to Sri Lanka may set you back quite a lot in terms of cash, but once you get there the prices are unbelievably low? You have gotta love how cheap it is. Getting there may cost a fair bit of money but once you are there, spending won’t really be happening all that much. The hotels here are an absolute wonder, so once your in your sorted. You will be treated like a king, great room service at all hotels, and at most you will have great day spa facilities. If a Safari is what you would like to try, then you have got to give this a go, this is one of the main reasons people come to this country. If your looking for something fun and exciting then a safari through the Sri Lankan jungles and forests is a sure way to find it. There is a lot of ways for people to enjoy themselves on holiday in Sri Lanka.
This isn’t a holiday without any down falls, there are a few things that you may want to know about it. The weather is one of the main reasons that would put you off from heading out to this glorious and beautiful location. This rain comes down like a tidal wave. Now if you don’t mind getting a bit wet (it’s worse than a bit but never mind), then there are a couple of other problems. This is a very poor country, and it is still torn by civil war, which you really don’t want to get caught up in. Just make sure that you don’t enter the forests without a guide or a tour, it is important to make sure someone is with you at all times. Then there is the injections that you need to prevent yourself from obtaining any nasty illnesses, now this is the worst for me!
Sri Lanka holidays have become very popular, but if you want something more relaxing and less dangerous, you should try Maldives holidays or Caribbean holidays!
