If you are planning on going on one of thosediving holidays then I will say before I go on that the likelihood of you being attacked by a shark is very small indeed but there are some sharks out there that have attacked more than others. If you look into some of the research that has been done on this you will very easily see that most of the time a human is mistaken for prey which is why the shark attacks him/her. Onto the list!
The Great White
It is safe to say that it is this shark that people are the most afraid of and unprovoked attacks are something that these creatures are pretty famous for. Pulling a victim out of the water is certainly something that is very unique to humans and this is why scientists feel that Great Whites hardly ever target humans unless they really have to. What happens with a great white is that it will come in for a killer blow and wait a bit longer until the victim is weak, humans will pull away their friends in this time.
The Tiger Shark
This shark is also high on the list of the amount of fatal attacks it causes on human beings. The place to find these animals is often in shallow water, just where humans will be swimming which is why contact is going to happen. It would seem that one of the biggest places for these types of attacks is Hawaii and this is because many people actually go looking for them as they believe the eyes of the shark are sacred.
The bull shark is one of those creatures that does not like another animal in their territory and humans are one of these, they will attack.
Do not let this put you off ofshark diving because in most instances it is a perfectly safe thing to do, the best location I feel has to bered sea diving holidays.
